Adam Lambert blasts Clay Aiken right back over American Idol insult

Adam Lambert could care less about Clay Aiken’s recent criticism of his singing on American Idol as “awful” — and has a few remarks of his own for the Idol runner-up.

Lambert told Access Hollywood Aiken means, well, nothing to him.

“I don’t know Clay.

“I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before,” said Lambert, in a thinly veiled bit of snark.

“If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him.”

Indeed!
