American Idol “crooner” Clay Aiken is a dad

American Idol runner-up, Clay Aiken, 29, became a father three days ago. Hey, I know what you’re thinking. I am thinking it too. Muffins are delicious! Anyhoo, turns out Aiken’s platonic friend, 50 year old Jaymes Foster - sister of the music producer, David Foster – obligingly provided her insides for the purpose. THis is weird isn’t it? Back in May, Aiken’s rep confirmed that Foster was artificially inseminated. Aiken recently announced the news on his blog: “My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.”) Man, is that baby in for a rough ride. He hasn’t got a first name!
