Amy Winehouse, 24, has an irregular heartbeat after she collapsed at home on Monday. And the cause could be her drug habit. Crack narrows blood vessels and raises blood pressure. It is toxic to the heart muscle, causing an irregular beat. “A heart attack is one of the most common ways for the drug to kill”, a doctor told The Sun. “But if Amy’s lucky, she’ll feel much better in 48 hours.” Today there was further speculation the singer could be suffering from TB. She’s coughing up blood, has a chest infection and, as these images show, has lost a great deal of weight. “She needs to realize she will die if she she doesn’t clean up her act” says a source.
