"Musictoob serves up juicy tidbits from the music scene" - The Wall Street Journal
Bob Dylan, along with Grateful Dead songwriter Robert Hunter, is writing a musical.
Said Dylan, “Hunter is an old buddy. We could probably write a hundred songs together if we thought it was important or the right reasons were there.”
And here we were thinking an announcement made yesterday about the imminent release of Dylan sheet music was overkill.
Apparently, the Dylan has his eyes set on theatrical domination.
“We both write a different type of song than what passes today for songwriting. We’ll be writing a couple of other songs too, for some off-Broadway play,” Dylan continued.
That’s what we’ll be doing at 67, too — entertaining tourists.
