Britney Spears life is being run by lawyers since her dad took over

Britney Spears has spent close to $3million on  17 legal firms  to get her life back in order – ever since her dad Jamie Spears took over her affairs. And now those lawyers are running her life.

In the 14 months since a judge determined she was not competent to manage her life and multimillion-dollar music empire herself, her dad Jamie has been in charge but the accompanying legal work has cost her estate a small fortune.

At a recent court hearing, so many lawyers appeared to be representing the singer,  an opposing attorney remarked: ”Which one of you am I supposed to talk to?”

In a report, Geraldin Wyle, one of the many lawyers representing Britney wrote:

“Since the initiation of the conservatorship, as a result of the concerted efforts of Mr. Spears as well as all the professionals involved, all aspects of Ms. Spears’ life have been stabilized and continue to improve. ”

Wyle continued that Britney Spears faces “complex and challenging issues” necessitating outside attorneys, including Spears’ divorce and custody proceedings with Kevin Federline, a Florida civil suit brought by former manager Sam Lufti, a driving-without-a-license trial and a dispute over mould in a Malibu property leased by Spears – which alone cost  £4,500 ($7,000).

Britney Spears famously refered to her life as a prison during an MTV documenatry about her life. She is currently on tour.
