Britney Spears devastated after her wedding proposal to her boyfirend is rejected

Britney Spears is said to be devastated after she went down on one knee to pop the question to Jason Trawick, her manager and lover and was rejected.

Her dream of a fairytale Down Under was dashed after her lover of three years arrived two weeks ago with her two young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to join her on tour.

Poor Spears, 27, could not hide her feelings and later told her Sydney audience: ‘Have you ever really loved somebody? Have you ever really been hurt by somebody?’

The disappointment comes after her friends back in the US thought she had been given the green light.

‘She has already discussed marriage with him and they are excited about a romantic wedding,’ said an insider.

After two dud marriages in the past five years, the singer thought she had found the right one at last.

‘Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason,’ added the insider.

Spears’ misery follows very public divorces from Kevin Federline in 2007 and Jason Allen Alexander in 2004.
