Carla Bruni has denied specualtion that she is pregant by French president Nicholas Sarkozy, but has admitted they couple are “trying.” ‘I’m not pregnant and I regret it because I love it when I am. ‘Will it happen? It’s difficult for me to say. It’s much more difficult at 40 than it is at 25.’ She already has a seven year old son from a previous relationship while Sarkozy has three sons. Her comments arrive on the eve of the release of her new album entitled As If Nothing Happened. 
With a keen ear for controversy, Bruni has clearly mentioned her famous huband in a few lyrics. In Ta Tienne (Yours), she sings: ‘Let them curse me, I don’t give a damn. I couldn’t care less, I take all the blame I who made men dance/I give myself to you entirely.’
