Last night Musictoob threw another Thursday night bash, with AriZona Vapor Water on every table and free-flowing HobNob wines keeping everybody lubricated. This time around we rocked out to a curated soundtrack from Apache Beat’s Ilirjana Alushaj–we caught her before she leaves to tour with the Gossip and are mighty thankful for it. The Anchor in SoHo, New York City played host to a funky Musictoob/AriZona Vapor Water party last night, featuring DJ Cred on the decks and plenty of free-flowing Spaten. Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were filming directly outside — and this editor caught Justin Long opening his trailer door with his fly down. That’s what passes for news these days! Last night’s Musictoob party at Soho’s DIE FABRIK, presented by AriZona Vapor Water and hosted by Shake, was nothing short of amazing. We were gifted a rare set from FreshGeex, whose lead singer is between tours with Sean Kingston, as well as a soulful bit of acoustic pop from Michaela Anne. The Musictoob/Shake party last night at Le Royale, presented with AriZona Vapor Water, was spectacular! Apollo Heights, hot on the heels of Spike Lee’s 20th anniversary party for ‘Do The Right Thing,’ played an impromptu set and jammed until the wee hours. Queens rapper Prophit kept the party hyped, burlesque performer Strawberry Cream Puff danced with a lollipop and — quiz time — which prominent fashion designer wears a pirate ship on his head to parties?
