American Idol’s runner-up from the second season, Clay Aiken, wrote on his blog that this season’s almost-winner, Adam Lambert, “made his ears bleed.” Now he says he’s sorry.
Clay Aiken’s apology was mostly for the benefit of bloggers, being that he’s sure Adam doesn’t care: “I hope he can forgive me. I imagine he doesn’t give a damn!”
“The only person I would really dream of apologizing to is Adam. And the irony is, if he’s smart he couldn’t give a crap what I think. I do apologize to Adam for my colourful (and negative) choice of words.”
