DJ AM death is “accidental overdose” of OxyContin, Benadryl, and good ol’ cocaine

1251729336djam-200x133Toxicology results for the death of DJ AM show he had OxyContin, Benadryl, and loads of blow in his system and died of “acute intoxication.”

The New York City Medical Examiner has ruled the death an “accidental overdose,” possibly due to interactions between the aforementioned drugs and something used to cut the cocaine with.

When it came out that Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was dead at 36, many immediately feared he’d committed suicide. But it looks like it’s just another tragic end for a hard partying SoHo type.
