Mr and Mrs Gwen Stefani gave birth to their second son in Los Angeles yesterday and then promptly called it, Zuma Nesta Rock. Why would you? It sounds like B-movie planet spawn. Zuma must be the celebrity equivalent of naming your child after a bottle of Lambrini or a Big Brother contestant. The first one got off lightly with ‘Kingston’. At least it’s another boy. By all accounts Gavin Rossdale does a pretty bad job of looking after his one daughter, Daisy, the result of a 1989 one night stand with Pearl Lowe (ex-lover of heroin and present wife of Supergrass drummer, Danny Goffey). Since a DNA test revealed he was Daisy Lowe’s father, he has refused contact and got stroppy about paying maintenance. To this day, Pearl says Rossdale refuses to speak to either her or Daisy. “He hates us. It’s not a happy ending, sadly. I can’t really fathom it; I can’t work out what his problem is. He’s missing out on a beautiful daughter.”
