Two reasons Kevin Smith should go on a diet immediately

1266241579smithstanding_E_20100215075738 Cool director Kevin Smith was recently thrown off a Southwest Airlines flight for being too fat. Kevin Smith tweeted all about it.

“I broke no regulation, offered no ’safety risk,’ (what, was I gonna roll on a fellow passenger?),” he Tweeted. “I’m way fat… But I’m not THERE just yet.

Southwest Airlines eventually apologized, gave him a $100 voucher and put him on another flight. Smith’s Twitter response?

“Dear @SouthwestAir, I’m on another one of your planes, safely seated & buckled-in again, waiting to be dragged off in front of the normies,” he continued to Tweet. “Look how fat I am on your plane! Quick! Throw me off!”

It’s not the first time the director has suffered weight-related embarrassment. On his website he blogged that he recently sat on a friend’s toilet and broke it. His friend, with whom he works, immediately told the overweight auteur: “no one has to know about this.”
