"Musictoob serves up juicy tidbits from the music scene and beyond" - The Wall Street Journal
Delightful British singer-songwriter Leona Naess recently chatted us up from San Francisco, shared her thoughts on Pinot Noir, and let us know there’s a free track of hers available for download at HobNob’s Creative Juices. Wine and free music? Total win.
Leona’s “Charm Attack” was a chart-topper, and “Ballerina” and “Christmas” made Weeds and The OC, respectively. You’ll also find her singing alongside Ray LaMontagne in 2008’s “Gossip In The Grain.”
But on to important matters. What kind of wine does Leona Naess drink?
“Pinot Noir, I love,” she told us. We like the kind in a box, but nevermind that.
“I’ve been drinking a lot of Californian actually, but I used to just drink Merlots, like Chilean, Argentinian wines. I actually had a really good Burgundy last night.”
“Not beer. I can’t drink beer — if I’m really drunk, I’ll drink beer.”
The lovely strains of Leona’s music can be downloaded here at HobNob Wines’ Creative Juices.
