Madonna and Guy to split?

According to Closer magazine, Guy Ritchie’s father - the notoriously loose lipped John - is telling anyone who’ll listen that his son and Madonna’s marriage has hit trouble.

Guy failed to attend Madonna’s induction into the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame last week and the couple are “not spending any time together. Madonna is busy in America with the children, and Guy wants to stay in the UK. They won’t be spending Easter together either.”

“Guy is very busy over here in England, and didn’t make it to her film premiere (Filth and Wisdom in Berlin in February). He spends his weekends in the countryside and the rest of the time in London,” continued John Ritchie.

Cheers Dad. Madonna’s people have pushed back.

“I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married,” countered the singer’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, yesterday. “All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household.”
