Madonna and Lady Ga Ga go at it in hair pulling catfight

The singers appeared on stage together for the first time – and their rivalry soon boiled over into a hair-pulling scrap.

Gaga fired the first insult singing: ‘What’s wrong Madonna? Can’t get into the groove?’

Madonna then asked: ‘What kind of name is Lady Gaga? It sounds like baby food.’

They then rolled around on the stage slapping and tugging each other’s hair.

But fans needn’t worry, as the ‘fight’ was just a sketch on US comedy show Saturday Night Live.

The pair kissed and made up, with host comic Kenan Thompson
