"Musictoob serves up juicy tidbits from the music scene" - The Wall Street Journal
This Is It, the Michael Jackson movie of cobbled-together rehearsal video and behind-the-scenes interviews, comes out on October 28 and Sony is pretty sure it’s going to be the biggest movie ever. See the trailer and read more after the jump.
Execs are estimating a $250 million take in the movie’s first five days, which would shatter the current record of $204 million held by The Dark Knight. Sure, that sounds absurd. but the movie is No. 1 in ticket sales on Fandango two weeks before its release and theaters are scrambling to set up more showings. Yeah, still sounds absurd. Mj was a fabulously talentd person,no question. However,I think it is so sad that the family appears to be anxiously awaiting more millions of dollars so they can continue their preferred lifestyle of aquiring nothing for themselves, just letting poor dead mj continue to support them ,can’t even imagine what it is like to receive a $90,000 check each month plus have all living expenses paid by another part of mj’s money.
MJ is the best entertainer of our time. Bless his soul.
