Miley Cyrus on Twilight’s Robert Pattinson: “Ok, girls, I get it now.”

Miley Cyrus stood out among her contemporaries for not getting the appeal of Twilight’s mopey, hunky vampire Robert Pattinson. But the time the pair spent together last night appears to have changed her Miley-mind.

Before we begin, get your heads out of the gutter. The two both won awards last night on FOX’s Teen Choice Awards, along with the Jonas Brothers and Britney Spears. And none for Megan Fox.

As is standard procedure, Cyrus posted her change of heart on Twitter.

“Gave a hug to Rob Pattinson today. Okay girls, I get it now,” wrote Cyrus. She calls him ‘Robby,’ though.

“So cute. Sorry ‘Robby’ about all my bashing in the past.”

That’s right, Miley — leave the bashing to meanies like Perez Hilton.
