Nine Inch Nails have become the latest group to jump on the iPhone app bandwagon, after artists like Fall Out Boy and Lady Gaga. The app, called “Nine Inch Nails: Access,” essentially acts as a portal to NIN.com, updated in real-time and with extra tools to help “meetup” with other fans nearby — “talking” was clearly proving difficult.
“We have a passionate online community that ends up gathered around each other physically at our live shows. We wanted to give them the tools to find each other and interact in the physical world (for better or worse),” said frontman Trent Reznor.
