Pete Wentz to wed Ashley Simpson and her crazy dad

Most will know that Pete Wentz, 28, and Ashley Simpson, 23, are all set to wed. But does anyone, including Pete himself, realize what a barnpot Simpson’s dad is? Does he appreciate who he’ll have as a father in law? This is the former baptist minister who said of his eldest daughter Jessica “She’s got double D’s! You can’t cover those suckers up!” This is the guy who encouraged his youngest Ashley to change her look to more closely resemble Jessica – to help fluff record sales. This is the guy who had a song written about him by the Arcade Fire. You can hear the song here.

It’s called Antichrist Television Blues and I am guessing it is not entirely complimentary. Musictoob has spent an enjoyable afternoon in the company of Pete Wentz and so feels duty bound to warn him of the awkward Thanksgiving dinners to come. You read it here first, Pete.
