Michael Jackson’s funeral is going to be exactly the same kind of three ring circus as his miserable life.
Obama and Sir Paul McCartney are rumoured to attend.
The event is to be held in Los Angeles on Tuesday and organisers are expecting up to a million people to show.
The Staples Center arena, which can fit a whopping 20,000 guests, is to host the memorial service, where tributes from music legends will pay homage to the King of Pop’s life.
President Obama is believed to have been invited, along with Sir Paul McCartney, Liz Taylor and Diana Ross – but Quincy Jones has said he will not be there.
Jones, who produced Jacko’s Thriller album, has said he won’t go to any more funerals ever, because he can’t handle it.
Giant screens are to be set up outside the arena so mourners can watch from outside and 750million more fans are expected to watch the even on TV.
n 2002 Michael said in an interview that he would want his funeral ‘to be the greatest show on earth’.
“That’s what I want. Fireworks and everything”, he said.
Spokesperson for the Jackson family, Brian Oxman, says the legend’s wish will come true: “It’s going to be huge. Massive”, he said.
The service will start at 10am and will be approximately two hours long.
