When spoilt brat Miley Cyrus had an on-air temper tantrum last week about Radiohead refusing to meet her at the Grammys, she really showed her age. Luckily, there are still some grown-ups left to put her in her place. The Hannah Montana star said during a radio interview that Radiohead had snubbed her when she had asked to meet the band backstage at the Grammys. A rep for Radiohead told Cyrus’ people that when it comes to meeting people, “We don’t really do that.”
A humiliated Miley relating this story then threatened to “ruin” the band for the slight. It was unlikely to endear her to Yorke and co, but nobody expected Radiohead to dignify her comments with a response.
Weirdly, that is what has happened and – in what can now be deemed as the most bizarre rock feud of the year to date – Radiohead issued a statement to Us Weekly about the whole debacle. “When Miley grows up, she’ll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement.”
Kanye West also bitched publicly that Radiohead ignored him at the same event. West was so hurt he “sat the fuck down” as he told it to VH1’s Storytellers, when Radiohead went on stage to perform “15 Step.” Suggestion: Get over yourselves?
Yorke has taken to the band’s ‘Dead Air Space’ blog to have the last word, before the band sets off for South America. “Wish us all a safe journey if you still like us and you’re not one of those people i have managed to offend by doing nothing xx,”

[...] Miley Cyrus thinks Ryan Seacrest is creepy. She said so on Twitter. Her posts started with “Ryan Seacrest is scaring me!! HELP.” She followed that with “Ryan is wayyy creeeppyyy!” and “I am NOT kiddddnggg!” (clearly spelling is not top on her priority list). And then the crisis was over, when she sent the following tweet, “Just did seacrest and now time for usa today!!” Thanks, Musictoob’s HEIDI WARD, for the story. [...]
