I love it when celebs go all extra-weird and do the complete opposite thing that is on their CV. Alice Cooper took up golf, starship-trooper Robbie Williams got fat, Arnold Schwarznegger became Governor of Cali. So, in this same tradition of spicing up the career-life, Mr Gangsta Paradise himself, Coolio, is planning to release a cookery book. This comes hot on the heels of his successful culinary webisode series. The Guardian says: “The 44-year-old Compton-born rapper and star of ‘Cookin’ with Coolio’ has used his lyrical abilities to name his concoctions things like ‘Fork Steak and Heavenly Ghettalian Garlic Bread’.” Coolio has also been slating chef Gordon Ramsay, clearly getting the world of cheffing confused with the world of guns and gangsters. He said: “I ate in one of his restaurants and I was not impressed. I would take all his dishes and make them better. I’m good at fisticuffs because I’m a martial artist. He could talk all he wants but, I’m less talk, more action. I get physical so I don’t think he’d want to go there. I would break his ribs.” Now that would be good TV.
