Rihanna fans set up online protest as she refuses to press charges against Chris Brown

Rihanna is doing a great job of being a role model for young women then. Police say the singer is refusing to press charges against Chris Brown for the physical attack against her that followed a row between the couple last month. Disappointed fans have set up a website dontdoitrihanna.com to petition against the star’s return to Brown as news came in that the couple have reunited at Diddy’s Miami beach house. One comment on the site laments: “Rihanna, you are supposed to be a role model. Would you tell your fans to do this?”Following the incident, shocking pictures emerged of her injuries, including: bruises to her eyes, nose and cheek and a swollen mouth. However, the 21-year-old has now said she will not testify against him in court after rekindling their romance to worldwide dismay. Prosecutors in Los Angeles must now decide if the case against Brown, 19, is strong enough to proceed without her testimony. California law allows prosecutors to charge an individual with domestic violence, even if the couple reunites.
