Michael Jackson continues to displace his creative energy into elaborate disguises to help him elude the press. Last week he opted for the Zorro look, spicing it up with a turquoise tunic and black headscarf—not exactly the most covert disguise.
But maybe Jacko is just trying out some new accessories, since the white rhinestone glove from the “Billie Jean” video and the gates to Neverland Ranch, along with more than 2,000 more of his belongings, will be going on the auction block in Beverly Hills come April.
R&B singer Akon, who worked with Jackson on a remix of “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” forThriller 25, doesn’t think the King of Pop will ever hit the stage again. Though there has been speculation about live dates in 2009, Akon cites the media’s constant hounding as the reason why that won’t happen. “Michael Jackson is the best performer ever and he can’t even focus – you will never see another tour from him,” he told WENN.
