madonna1 Madonna is about to move sons, Rocco and David to New York to join herself and their sister Lourdes, after winning a permanent residency order against her freshly divorced husband, Guy Ritchie. Guy’s father, John, Ritchie Senior had a few words about his ex daughter-in-law’s newly single status: “We hope she does have a lot of boyfriends because it means she won’t ever get back together with Guy”.

A warm little statement that proves $75 million doesn’t go far towards buying friends these days. Might as well tear up those lottery tickets then. Ritchie Senior told In Touch magazine: “Guy is generally quite happy with the arrangements, provided the children come to London when he wants them to. If she makes that difficult, he will have to re-think how they are managing custody, but so far she hasn’t.” Madonna is understood to have received temporary permission to remove the two boys from Britain – with the move expected to be made permanent shortly. “Everything is going well. It’s pretty amicable at the moment. Things are progressing” a source close to the negotiations told a newspaper: “Everything is going to be resolved in the next couple of weeks.”
