Carla Bruni makes love/drugs album for French president husband

Carla Bruni Sarkozy has released her first album as wife of the French president and has dedicated a slushy album to her diminuitive leader husband. In one track from As if Nothing Had Happened, which is due for release on July 21, she sings: ‘I am yours, if they diss me or damn me, I don’t care a hoot.’ Song lyrics also include references to hard drugs. One goes: ‘You are my dope, more lethal than Afghan heroin, more dangerous than Colombian powder,’ and ‘I am a child/Despite my 40 years/Despite my 30 lovers/A child.’ French music critics – such things exist – claim it is her best album ever. In other news: Bruni has recently admitted to experiencing problems with her husband.“My instinctive reflexes are Left wing… I am not joined at the hip with (my husband’s) politics. I get the impression that people who are completely one side or another only think with one part of their brain,” she told a British newspaper.
